What are the effects of alcoholism in a family?

Alcoholism is a terrible debilitating disease that affects people of all ages and all races and genders. Alcoholics come in all shapes, sizes and professions too. Doctors, lawyers, Ship captains, Commercial Airline Pilots, and almost any other occupation you can imagine have alcoholics in their midst. But what makes them susceptible to alcohol? Why are they addicted to it in the first place? Good question. See in this a little further.

Researcherfocused on alcohol from many different angles over the years and although there is no definitive answer to this problem, most believe that it comes from our lineage. Somewhere in our family, at some point, there has been an alcoholic or any number of alcoholics in the family. This can be on both sides of your family or a single side. It could even be a parent, which is very common. Wherever it came from, you must learn to Ahold's problems and put the bottle beforedisease progresses.

Some people are born with an acquired taste for alcoholic beverages. Some even say that "Crave" it. One thing is certain and that they need to decline before the end of their life at an early age. You see, alcohol is in different stages. One day you may be pending after a few beers with your friends and the worst may happen is that you wake with a hangover or do something stupid while you were drunk, you know The old lampshaderoutine head? But as you continue to evolve over time, your body and your brain starts to change. You actually become a different person. The electrons in your brain starts firing in a different scheme and you begin to go through a personality change. For some people, it is potentially dangerous because they may become violent, depression or psychosis. If they were already in crisis or have suffered from depression before starting to drink heavily, then they become much worse.

Alcohol is anatural "depressant" and remit a large quantity in a person already suffering from depression is also potentially dangerous. This person may become suicidal or things may be seemingly desperate for them and they find themselves in the depths of despair. Also, a person who continues to drink regularly in the thirties May cause permanent damage to their sexual organs. This can eventually cause people to become incapable of having an erection.

Alcoholics can also sufferhyperglycemia (a low concentration of sugar), to become diabetic, suffers from atrophy of limbs due to muscle loss and eventually develop cirrhosis of the liver and die at an early age. Unfortunately, this happens too often and there is no cure for cirrhosis. Once the liver is damaged, it never heal, even if the person stops drinking.

If you feel you have a drinking problem, please do not hesitate to do something. Confide in a friend, family member or your doctor. It takestime to recover from this disease and, although you'll still have it, you'll be able to live productive lives well, if you just put the bottle and pick up the phone. God bless you and good luck!
