"Suffering is not the fact, but in your perception of reality," Sri Bhagavan, Oneness University.
Bhagavan says that until we see our suffering as the result of external events, we continue to avoid or if you want to escape our suffering. We are going to accuse others. If instead we change the way we see the suffering in our inner consciousness moving toward us, we reach a point that our results suffer from the way we see and experience the events and people. InIn other words, we see through the limited vision of colored glasses of our own misperceptions of external reality. The answer to our suffering lies in ourselves.
Another way to understand the suffering follows, in my personal experience. As we see meanness in others, which may turn our stomachs, we tend to resist or succumb. This resistance causes suffering for us. Another way for us. We can reach another soul the meanness of their inner essence. InIn other words, look beyond their suffering to the inner beauty of person.
Recently I had the opportunity to reach out to my father who had died thirty years ago. I resisted the meanness of his alcoholism my whole life. From my experience, I believe that the line of the family realized the suffering. We can choose to allow the baseness of our family line to dissolve as we allow greater light of God in our body.
I had the choice to forgive my father rather than continueto bring the suffering of my body. Therefore, I extended my hand and thereby helped to release him from his suffering.
One might ask, how can we yield to the meanness of another person? I succumbed to the meanness of my father at first resisted, and in the resistance, I took it. In addition, when we succumb to the thrill, which takes us overdue, which drains our energy and we feel tired. This opens the door to the baseness of the negative energies of others to enterus.
"Pain is a relatively objective, physical phenomenon, suffering is our psychological resistance to what is happening. The events can cause physical pain, but they are not in themselves create suffering. Resistance creates suffering. Stress occurs when your mind resists what is ...
