The Disease of Alcoholism

alcoholabuseadvice.com My older brother is an alcoholic. He has been for as long as I can remember. Alcohol abuse runs in my family, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Still, it's heartbreaking to see him waste his life by being wasted as the time. He's had to declare bankruptcy twice, his wife is thinking about leaving him and taking their two kids, and his body is starting to break down pretty severely. I just wish he could see the damage he's doing, both to himself and to his family, and realize that he doesn't have to live that way. I wish I could do it for him, but it has to be his choice.
