Stages of Alcoholism One Should Know

As we know alcohol is the stage where alcohol is so great that it starts interfering with the physical and mental health of the individual drinking it. It affects the personal and social life of the person in the opposite direction. Generally, all alcoholics are not equal in that they may all be different stages of alcoholism, they are in. There are three stages of alcoholism. First is in its infancy, the second-Eaststage and a final late stage of alcoholism. However, it can take years for someone to progress through different stages.

If a man or a woman is healthy with one or two drinks per day, it is not considered alcoholism. But when the frequency increases by one or two more drinks, the first stages of early growth .

The Early Stage adaptation or alcoholism

In the early stage of alcohol a person begins drinking alcohol just tochange his mood, to obtain relief from a certain type of problem. The person affected with friends and family members are unaware they are at an early stage of alcoholism. Their eagerness to alcohol continues to increase, which means they must increase the amount of alcohol to get the desired type of mood. In the early stages of alcoholism, the body begins to adapt to the increasing amount of alcohol. At this stage of alcoholism,body does not lose its "controls, meaning that the person can still walk straight, without losing their checks from the body, but they continue to drink alcohol in their body begins to rise.

The middle stage of alcoholism

In the second stage of alcoholism, they begin to drink in large quantities and with greater frequency. The alcoholic simply loses its ability to limit its consumption to socially acceptable times, patterns, andlocations. They start drinking for any problems and continue to think more and drink more. At this stage, the body begins to lose its controls as it argued in the early stages of alcoholism that began to create problems with family and friends that also means they are beginning to create problems with their unwanted change of attitude. This is the level of alcoholism, where the person knows in their own they are somewhat of a milestone of alcoholismbut continue to deny they have a drinking problem.

The last stage of alcoholism

Alcoholism last step is the most terrifying for the alcoholic family and friends. This is also known as the deteriorative stage of alcoholism. At this stage, the overconsumption of alcohol is harmful to the body. It will be obvious to family and friends as the alcoholic drinks most of the time. They begin to fall ill,mentally confused, and many other mental and physical problems. This is due to damage to vital organs. This damage often results in one or more serious diseases. For example, liver cirrhosis, heart failure, hepatitis, etc. are potential health issues associated with such damage to the body. These physical and psychological changes are almost inevitable and some are irreversible. The alcoholic is faced with a denial that he or she has a problem. Disclaimermakes it very difficult for the alcoholic manage everyday problems or to seek help for problems that, in most cases are the direct result of alcohol consumption.
